Ingredients:

  • 6 cups sliced apples (Gala or Granny Smith)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt in an 8x8 inch baking dish, spreading them evenly.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, oat flour, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted coconut oil and maple syrup, stirring until the mixture forms coarse clumps.
  3. Spoon the oat mixture evenly over the apples. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the apple juices bubble around the edges and the topping is deep golden brown.
